University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) is offering scholarships for international. These scholarships are offered for those applicants who wish to pursue their Master’s and Doctoral and Research or Training study at University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) in China.

Courses Offered

All courses are available for masters and doctoral degree program by the UCAS

Scholarship Duration

Master’s students: no longer than 36 months

Doctoral students: no longer than 36 months

Students on joint programs: 3-24months

Regular and Senior visiting scholars: 6-24 months

Scholarships Details

Exempted from tuition fee

Doctoral students would be exempted from a tuition fee of RMB 40,000/year

Master’s students would be exempted from a tuition fee of RMB 30,000/year

Senior visiting students would be exempted from a tuition fee of RMB 3,000/month

Regular visiting student would be exempted from a tuition fee of RMB 2,600/month.

UCAS provides monthly stipend of RMB 2,500 for Doctoral students, senior visiting students and Doctoral students on joint programs, and RMB 2,000 for Master’s students and regular visiting students.

UCAS provides basic accommodation to awardees from institutes and schools located in Beijing.

Medical Insurance

The insurance premium is RMB 800/year, with RMB 400 for half-year term, and it would be deducted from the first stipend of each academic year.

Original notarized photocopies of degree certificates

Master’s program applicants shall submit the original notarized photocopies of their Bachelor’s degree certificates.

Doctoral program applicants shall submit those of both their Master’s and Bachelor’s degree certificates.

Original transcripts or original notarized photocopies of transcripts

Recommendation letters from two professors

A recommendation letter must be printed on an official headed paper, with the referee’s signature and date, and be sealed.

CV and research proposal

Photocopies of all the title pages and abstracts of maximum 5 representative published academic papers

A photocopy of the bank receipt for the submission of application processing fee: RMB 600 or USD, EUR equivalent.

Find an eligible host supervisor affiliated with CAS institute or UCAS School

Obtain a host supervisor’s acceptance

CAS institute/UCAS school approves

UCAS makes the final review and prepares admission documents according to the evaluation result

ACU Scholarships 2016 Australia

Australian Catholic University is offering scholarships for international (not be an Australian permanent resident citizen or New Zealand citizen) students. These awards are offered for those applicants who want to pursue their undergraduate and postgraduate study at Australian Catholic University in Australia.

Applicants must attend the relevant ACU campus as a full-time student

Applicants must not be receiving any other major scholarship or award

Applicants must not be attending ACU as a Study Abroad or Exchange student

Australian Government International Postgraduate Research Scholarships (IPRS) 2016

International Postgraduate Research Scholarships (IPRS) are funded by the Australian Government and awarded to postgraduate international candidates on the basis of academic merit and research potential at The University of South Australia in Australia.

Turkish Government Scholarships 2016

Turkish Government is offering scholarships for international students. These scholarships are offered for those applicants who want to study in undergraduate, postgraduate degree programs at any university in Turkey. Applicants can apply only one scholarship program in accordance with their educational background and academic goals.

Born no earlier than 01.01.1995 for undergraduate programs

Have at least specified (% 90 for medical sciences, % 70 for other undergraduate programs) cumulative grade point average, diploma grade, national exam or international exam score

Be in good health

To be eligible for postgraduate programs: applicants must:

Be a citizen of a country other than Turkey (Anyone holding or ever held Turkish citizenship before cannot apply)

Not be a registered student in Turkish universities at the level of study they are applying

Be a bachelor’s or master’s degree holder by 30th of July 2015 at the latest

Born no earlier than 01.01.1986 for master’s programs

Born no earlier than 01.01.1981 for doctorate programs

Have at least 75 % cumulative grade point average or diploma grade over their maximum graduation grade or have at least 75 % success in any accepted national or international graduate admissions test.

University of Sussex (US) Scholarships 2016

University of Sussex is offering scholarships for non UK/EU international students all over the world. These scholarships are offered for those applicants who wish to pursue their study in Postgraduate taught at University of Sussex in UK. These scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic performance and potential.

Fields of Study / Subjects

Applicants can choose any eligible postgraduate taught programs offered at University of Sussex Schools (e.g., MA, MSc, LLM, MRes, Postgraduate Diploma, and Graduate Diploma) excluding the following degrees:

Courses in the Institute of Development Studies, except the MA in Gender and Development

MSc in Social Research Methods

DPhil combined (1+3 degrees)

Award amount is 50% off international student tuition fee

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants for these scholarships must meet the following criteria:

Be assessed as liable to pay fees at the “overseas” (namely the non-EU) rate

Have sufficient funds to meet their tuition fees and living expenses, after taking account of the possible award of a Chancellor’s International Scholarship

Intend to remain on the program for which the scholarship is offered

Applicants who hold other University of Sussex scholarships will not be eligible for the Chancellors International Scholarship
